DESCRIPTION:This webinar is designed for school library staff who regularly interact with catalogue records in their LMS and understand the basic of cataloguing theory. It will focus on the skills and knowledge required to create SCIS catalogue records\, as well as consider the SCIS cataloguer workflows.  \n  \nThis session can include: \n\nSCIS cataloguing standards \nTopical subject headings and controlled vocabularies \nCall numbers and Dewey \nDescribing a resource \nDevelopment in library bibliographic data and its impact on SCIS \n\nLearning outcomes:  \n\nImproved understanding SCIS cataloguer workflows \nIncreased knowledge of the international and local standards used to create SCIS records \nDevelop some familiarity with the future of bibliographic data \nThis session is planned to be interactive\, with conversations between participants and presenters encouraged\, so bring along your questions.
